Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Protect your account with an extra layer of security by enabling 2FA.
Why Enable 2FA?
Two-factor authentication adds security by requiring:
- Something you know (your password)
- Something you have (your phone)
Setup Instructions
- Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
- Click "Enable 2FA"
- Download an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
Logging In with 2FA
After enabling 2FA:
- Enter your email and password as usual
- Open your authenticator app
- Enter the current 6-digit code
- Click "Verify"
Backup Codes
If you lose access to your authenticator app:
- Use one of your backup codes to log in
- Each backup code can only be used once
- Generate new backup codes after using them
Lost Access?
If you've lost both your authenticator and backup codes, contact support with:
- Your registered email address
- Recent billing information
- Photo ID for verification
